Dr. Lou Gerken starts Pediatric Dentistry of Loveland. The population of Loveland was only ~30,000 at that time! The first office was across from Mckee Hospital on Boise Ave.
Dr. Gerken moves from the Boise office to a new Loveland location (Madison Square Drive). His wife paints the beautiful tropical murals!
Dr. Galm finishes her pediatric dental training and joins her father! She gets to learn from the BEST for 10 years.
For many years, Dr. Gerken is surrounded by a team of special people who help make this office the place it is today!
Dr. Matt starts his dental career in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Matt serves internationally in Italy for 4 years as a Pediatric Dentist.
Pediatric Dentistry helps (as volunteers!) to set a Guinness World Record for longest line of toothbrushes stacked end to end. Over 40,000 toothbrushes were used stretching 3.57 miles!
After a 40 year career in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Gerken retires at the age of 70!
Dr. Matt joins the Pediatric Dentistry of Loveland team!
Expansion and renovation of Pediatric Dentistry of Loveland is complete. We doubled our space and have room to treat more kids!
The joyful team values and faith-driven mission that Dr. Gerken began in 1979 continue to live on with Dr. Kate and Dr. Matt.
